Last year, KIX and Vince Neil rocked White Rose Thunder. This year, Grand Funk Railroad will headline the bike event at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave., West Manchester Township. Known for hits songs including “Some Kind of Wonderful” and “The Loco-Motion,” Grand Funk Railroad will take the stage Sept. 28.
On Sept. 26, WQXA-FM (105.7 the X) and White Rose Thunder will host band competitions. Mustang Sally Band, will return for a second year with a Sept. 27 show. This year, White Rose Thunder will expand its offers to two days of flat track racing with professionals on Sept. 28 and amateurs on Sept. 29.
Admission prices have been reduced for 2013. Tickets cost $10 per person on Thursday and Sunday and $15 per person on Friday and Saturday. Four-day passes are available for $35. Prices cover all attractions including racing, concerts, stunt shows, bike shows and more.
